Holiday Tree Lighting at Bayfront Park: “Bring the whole family to Bayfront Park’s Tree Lighting to kick off the holiday season! This free event, held annually the day after Thanksgiving, marks the start of the holiday season. The tree is a striking, artificial, 50 foot, Rocky Mountain Pine Tree — adorned with a custom lighting package. Grand Opening of the Night Garden at Fairchild Tropical Garden: “The first ever NightGarden makes its debut this holiday season to transform Miami’s Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden into an illuminated wonderland at night. Garden of Lights: A Winter Holiday Event at Mounts Botanical Garden: “Mounts will be all a-twinkle in the evenings during the holiday season with thousands of holiday lights hanging from the trees, illuminating the walkways and landmark structures, with colorful LED trees and glowing light-balls, all along an easy-to-follow route throughout 15 different garden areas – the perfect way to light-up the holidays for joyous visitors of every age, romantic disposition, and spiritual leanings. 34th Annual Main Street Festival: “Join us for the 34th Annual Main Street Festival of Lights, brought to you by the Main Street Merchants and The Graham Companies. Kick-off the holiday season making memories with family, friends and loved ones as Main Street lights up the evening with a series of holiday-themed presentations. Enjoy the Lighting of Main Street with special guest Santa, Live DJ, Photo Stations, performances by students from local schools, characters, and lots of complimentary activities for children to experience courtesy Publix Super Markets. Renown journalist and TV/Radio personality, GiGi Diaz from 93.9 MIA, will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Media partners include the Miami Herald and the Miami Laker.
