The most wonderful time of the year continues! Check out these family-friendly holiday events happening in South Florida this weekend. 

  • Friday, December 7, 2018 

Holiday Spectacular at Coral Gables City Hall: “Join Santa and the members of the Coral Gables Commission for the 2018 Holiday Spectacular on Friday, December 7 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 405 Biltmore Way. The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. and photos with Santa will be available at Merrick Park after his sensational arrival.” For more information, click here

Light Up Cooper City : “Join us as we kick off the holiday season and light up Cooper City!  Enjoy the lights, community youth performances, bounce houses, train rides, craft fair and children's activities.  Be sure to bring your camera for our special visitor from the North Pole.Children, ages one to eight, can visit with Santa at the gazebo.” For more information, click here

Teddy Bear Tea: “Teddy Bear Tea  – $10 per child (Parents are free) Admission Includes Complimentary Cookie & Tea for child & entrance to the Holiday Tree Festival. Winter Wonderland Celebration at Miami Airport Tri Rail Station: “Celebrate the season with 20 tons of snow at Tri-Rail’s Winter Wonderland celebration. In addition to the highly-anticipated snow playground, attendees will enjoy bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, cookie decorating, a coloring station & holiday carolers.” For more information, click here.

Practice Reading to a Princess: “Our local Princesses Against Cancer are partnering with Let’s Get Booking to bring smiles and help kids practice reading. Kids of all ages and reading abilities will have the opportunity to practice their reading by reading out-loud to their favorite princess. Dressed as children’s favorite Disney characters, the princesses are great listeners and judgment free. Spots are limited.” For more information, click here

Grand Chanukah Celebration at The Delray Market Place: “Join us at The Delray Marketplace Amphitheater on Sunday, December 9th from 5pm – 7pm for a Grand Chanukah Celebration! Bring the whole family to this free community event suitable for all ages! This event features the “Twins from France” acrobat show as well a Grand Lego Menorah Lighting! Additionally, we will have music, a dreidel & gelt giveaway and fun activities for the kids! (Latkes & donuts will be available for purchase for a nominal fee).” For more information, click here
