Turtle Trek at Sea Turtle Oversight Protection: “The adventure begins when you hit the sand with Sea Turtle Oversight Protection staff. After a brief presentation, you’ll have a rare opportunity to possibly witness newborn Sea Turtles emerging from a nest and see, firsthand, the threats they face. You will observe our trained staff rescue turtles that become disoriented due to the bright city lights. Then celebrate with us as we give these ancient mariners the chance to continue their epic journey of survival by releasing them at the ocean’s edge. 100% of the Turtle Trek proceeds help us fund our rescue operations. Turtle Treks take place in evenings during peak sea turtle nesting season.” For more information, click here.
