Another weekend is here, and along with it, chances to hunt dinosaurs, see fire trucks, celebrate Shakespeare, and much more!

Fire Truck to the Rescue at Glades Road Library Branch: “Elyse Weintraub-Brown from PBC Fire Rescue will teach about fire safety. Get an up-close look at the big, red fire engine (if available). Ages 5 & up. (60 min.) Call (561) 482-4554 to preregister.” For more information, click here .

Pinecrest Community Day at Evelyn Greer Park: “Imagine a day at the park. A DJ is playing popular music. Now add three giant bounce houses – two with water slides and one with a slip-and-slide. Before and after you get soaked with fun (and water), you get to pick from a variety of field games that include bubble ball soccer, mega tug-of-war with 20 to 30 people per team, dodge ball, archery tag, potato sack races and more. And it’s not just children having all the fun, adults can play too! Best part? It’s free! Pinecrest Community Day will be held on Saturday, July 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Evelyn Greer Park, 8200 SW 124th Street. Late Night Dinosaur Safari at Flamingo Gardens: “At 8pm meet join the safari guides to search for dinosaurs in the gardens with your flashlights! Dino Safari starts at 8pm and is sure to be fun for children and adults alike! Tickets are regular price for the entire day. Last tickets sold at 8pm. Trams, Wray Home and wildlife exhibits close at 8pm. Last Dino Safari starts at 8:15pm.” For more information, click here.

Miami Midsummer ShakesFestival at The Curtiss Mansion: “Little Revolt welcomes you to its third annual free family Shakespeare festival. Get ready to party like it’s 1599! There will be storytelling for kids, old English dance lessons, Nerf archery, stage combat lessons, art activities, a costume trunk for dress-up and selfies and short Shakespeare performances.” For more information, click here.

Magical Moths for Kids at Long Key Natural Area and Nature Center: “Children can drop in to the classroom to celebrate National Moth Week by learning about moths and their butterfly cousins.
