Oakland Park Latin Fest: “In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Oakland Park Latin Fest is a free community celebration of the Latin culture through food, drink, music, dance and art at Jaco Pastorius Park.” For more information, click here.
Bat Walk at Castellow Hammock Park: “Join the Castellow Hammock Park's naturalists as they set the record straight on bats, a group of fantastic but misunderstood mammals. The program will start with a short presentation inside the Castellow Hammock Nature Center followed by a night hike where we will use special acoustic devices to listen for bat calls that we may not be able to hear with the human ear.
