  • Groove on the Grass at Tamarac Sports Complex, 7:00 pm: Get your groove on the grass and enjoy live music from local bands.  Bring your lawn chairs or blankets.   • Earth Day Park & Beach Cleanup + Family Fun at Collins Park, 9:30 am: Join us as we come together as a #MiamiTech community to help keep our parks and beach clean while having fun! This event is supported by BITMAIN, is in partnership with eMerge Americas and is benefiting Blue Scholars Initiative, whose mission is to educate and empower students through hands-on (and virtual) marine science education to foster a connection to the ocean and to launch long-term environmental stewardship. We will have yoga, family activities, park/beach cleanup, food, music and much more. Bring the whole family and have fun while doing good!   • Special Needs Awareness Inclusive Family Day at Key Biscayne, 4 pm: We are thrilled to invite all Key Biscayne community members to "Special Needs Awareness Inclusive Family Day", the first event of its kind in Key Biscayne. This event is designed to bring families together and foster a sense of community, while also raising awareness about special needs and promoting inclusivity. Best of all, the event is completely free! The event will take place on the field of Key Biscayne K-8 Center, with an early "Super Hero" hour from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, exclusively for families with children of special needs. During this hour, families can enjoy exclusive access to the activities and entertainment, providing a safe and comfortable environment for children with special needs; many of whom have a hard time with big crowds and long lines.   • Pompano Beach Seafood Festival at Pompano’s Community Park and Amphitheater, 11 am-7 pm: The Festival, a non profit event, was founded in 1984 by the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Pompano Beach Fishing Rodeo to support local charities in the Pompano Beach Area.  Featuring some of the greatest musicians and artists in South Florida, the annual event has become a staple in the community. The proceeds of the annual festival stay in the community benefiting 12 great local charities which are listed below. At the event, you will notice these charities performing various roles to support the festival from selling tickets, t-shirts, and parking to serving our famous Rum Runners and Margarita’s.
