Happy Halloween! To help you celebrate, we’ve compiled a list of community events happening today that are family-friendly and sure to please.

  • Not so Spooky Haunted House at Williamsburg Landing: “Residents of the Marrinson Senior Care assisted living facility, Williamsburg Landing are opening their doors for a “spook-tacular” event this Halloween.   • Howl-O-Ween at Fairchild Tropical Gardens: “At Fairchild’s Howl-o-ween guests can take advantage of a great opportunity to enjoy the Garden with their dogs as they parade through Fairchild’s lush surroundings all the while showing off their Halloween costumes. Guests and their dog can hop on any of the trams, make it a doggie tram ride! Now that's something to wag your tail about! Don't forget to get their treats!” For more information, click here.

  • Mummy’s Break Time at Nutrition Smart: “Bring your witches and ghouls to celebrate at Nutrition Smart Pembroke Pines! We'll have 2 times of activities that include a free goodie bag to any child in costume day of! Activities will include crafts, activities, story times, kids halloween shows, and a "safe zone" so that "Mummies" and "Dadculas" can roam the store to get any last minute items!  Join us for pumpkin put put, spider toss, creepy Halloween sensory boxes, make your own spider slime, and more!” For more information, click here.

  • Track or Treat at Evelyn Greer Park: “The Village of Pinecrest’s Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present the 16th annual TRACK OR TREAT event on October 31st, 5pm-7pm at Evelyn Greer Park! Join us for bounce houses, candy, music and a costume contest. This event is FREE and open to the public. Please consider a ride sharing company as parking is limited. Overflow parking will be available at Suniland Park with shuttle service to and from Evelyn Greer Park.” For more information, click here.

  • Safe Streets Halloween Block Party in South Miami: “Don't miss the City of South Miami and Miami Kids Magazine's Safe Streets Halloween Block Party! It's going to be on October 31 from 4 PM to 7 PM. The party will be from SW 72nd St. to 57th Avenue. There will be safe and fun trick or treating for the whole family! Enjoy a visit from Dr. Seuss's the Cat in the Hat, free candy, games, prizes, music, pumpkin painting, inflatables, and much more!   • Spooktacular Halloween Party at Dolphin Mall: “The biggest Halloween party in town is back again this year! Trick or Treating, face painting, balloon artists, magicians, costume contests and more!” For more information, click here.

  • Ghost Tour at Arch Creek Park: “Explore the dark woods of haunted and historical Arch Creek Park and hear the grisly and chilling tales of the past that's still present. Learn about the darker side of your local park from Professional Storyteller Melinda Munger on a guided night hike through out trails. This program meets at the park Nature Center and is not recommended for children under 9; please bring comfortable closed-toe shoes, insect repellent, a flashlight, and tools to capture paranormal evidence.” For more information, click here.

  • Halloween Block Party and Deerwood Bonita Park: “Join us for a free family event with games, music, raffles, food trucks, costumes, bounce houses, tent-or-treat and much much more!  Donate a bag of non-perishable food and receive a raffle ticket!  We hope to see you there!” For more information, click here.
