Candy Cane Parade at Hollywood Beach Broadwalk: “Welcome to the 64th annual Hollywood Beach Candy Cane Parade. The parade is scheduled to roll down the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 7pm. The Candy Cane Parade on Hollywood Beach is one of the longest running holiday parades in the country. It started back in the mid-1950’s by a group of Hollywood merchants as a way to draw patrons to their shops and businesses. Today it features dozens of lighted floats and vehicles along the parade route entertaining the thousands of spectators who line the Broadwalk. The parade begins at 7:00 p.m. on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk at Missouri Street and heads south to Harrison Street. Complimentary bleacher seating will be available at various locations along the parade route from Garfield Street to Polk Street. Parade emcee will be stationed at the Hollywood Beach Theatre at Johnson Street.” For more information click here.

Ice Skating in the Park: “Experience ice skating in Florida! Our synthetic ice rink is open all day, along with all of the same carnival rides from Winter Fest! Participants may bring their own ice skates. Wristbands from Winter Fest are also good for this additional day of ice skating and rides. Wristbands for ice skating are $20 each, or $5 with your valid city-issued Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Card. Wristbands are on sale now and may be purchased at Pelican Community Park or the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. Free parking available in the Heritage Park garage and under the William Lehman Causeway. The SIBshuttle will also provide free transportation within Sunny Isles Beach.” For more information, click here.
Family Fun Fest at Biscayne National Park: “Biscayne National Park’s Family Fun Fest began in 2001 as a way for the local community to connect with the diverse stories of the park on a regular basis through fun, hands-on activities that family members of all generations could enjoy. The 20th season of this now multi-award winning event kicks off on December 8, 2019. This year's theme is "Twenty Years of Extraordinary Stories" and pays homage to timeless tales that appeal to all ages. As always, families are encouraged to dress the part to add to the fun. Family Fun Fest Junior lets the toddlers join in the fun with special activities designed just for them.
