Carnival Games at Gulfstream Park: “Enjoy Cool Summer Nights at The Village at Gulfstream Park every Friday night for some Family Fun! The event for July 26th will be Carnival Games: Come one, come all. Winners get a prize. Can you beat the game? And of course, we’ll be giving away free Popcorn! Summer Showers? We have you covered. Sun Stories Grand Opening at Giralda Plaza: “The City of Coral Gables is proud to announce the grand opening of Sun Stories, the city's summer public art installation. Taking cues from Coral Gables’ history and tropical life in South Florida, local artist Jessy Nite created bright words, phrases and a poem suspended over Giralda Plaza. Inspired by the art project, the grand opening event on Giralda Plaza will include activities that bring the colorful words to life. A fun ribbon cutting, interactive poetry sessions, a popup library, art activities for children, and of course, great live music are part of the special program being planned. Plant-Based Festival at Gulfstream Park: “This highly anticipated community event features some of the latest in food, drink and plant-based goods coming to Champions Plaza. The festival, located in The Village at Gulfstream Park shopping area will feature a main stage for presenters, music, giveaways from merchants, plant-based vendors, and contests for the kids. Autism Family Field Trip - Water Taxi Adventure: “An autism friendly environment, where everyone is welcome, and interactions are supported. A 2-hour round trip water taxi ride to Hollywood and back, narrated by a water taxi tour guide; A curated engaging experience created by autism therapist, Dr. Jennie and music therapist, Sarah Galvan; A social story (with real pictures) will be sent prior to the trip to prepare all children for this adventure; Sensory supports will be available on board if needed; Post excursion resources and enrichment activities will be sent to all families after the trip, offering a fun way for families to reflect on the experience and to check for comprehension.” For more information, click here.
